Students will learn to operate a dozer in a safe and efficient manner. The course will include the following:
- Plan and prepare
- Conduct machine pre-operational checks
- Operate a dozer
- Select, remove and fit attachments
- Relocate the bulldozer
- Carry out machine operator maintenance
Why should I attend?
Our training is designed for persons who are working in or intend to work in the building, road maintenance, mining and/or construction industries operating a bulldozer to perform various tasks.
How long will the training take?
Diggerman Training offers different courses tailored to suit individual student needs based on their experience and other factors such as available time or if completing practical training in your own workplace. (Logbook)
Our courses are tailored to vary between one and five days depending on prior experience.
Who is eligible to undertake this training?
There are no prerequisites for this course.
How is the course conducted and assessed?
Your training will be divided up into two parts firstly theory and once that is completed a practical section. After being taught both how to operate a bulldozer correctly and all the required theoretical knowledge you will be tested in both areas.
Upon successful completion of the unit, a Statement of Attainment will be issued. Participants will also receive a wallet card consisting of one (1) nationally recognised unit of competency.
