RIIMPO317F – Conduct roller operations.
Upon successful completion of the unit a Statement of Attainment will be issued. Participants will receive a wallet card consisting of one (1) nationally recognised unit of competency.
Your training will be divided up into two parts firstly theory and once that is completed a practical section. After being taught both how to operate the roller correctly and all the required theoretical knowledge you will be tested on both areas.

Who is eligible to undertake this training?
Diggerman Training offers different roller courses tailored to suit different students needs based on experience and other factors such as time, having access to your own machine and/or to allow students the maximum amount of practical time on the machine.
Why Diggerman Training?
Persons who are working in, or intend to work in the building, road maintenance, mining and/or construction industries operating a roller to perform various tasks.
This unit covers the conducting roller operations in the civil construction industry. It includes: planning and preparing; conducting machine pre-operational checks; selecting, removing and fitting attachments; operating and relocating the machine; and carrying out operator maintenance and finally clean up.
Our point of difference here at Diggerman Training is that we are also a large earthmoving company, which operates all over Queensland. This basically means that we know the industry well and are in touch with its needs within operators. Our extremely experienced trainers who have worked in the industry for many years will use this knowledge to train you to the highest standard.

This course is designed to cater for the student who has had considerable documented experience operating the roller. Additional training will be required should evidence provided be insufficient.
The duration of this course is approximately 1 day in length (8:00 am to 4.00 pm).
Cost: $650
For the student who has operated equipment previously but cannot provide evidence to substantiate their claims.
The duration of this course is approximately 2 days in length (8:00 am to 4:00 pm).
Cost: $1000
This course is designed to cater to persons with little or no previous operating experience.
The duration of this course is approximately 3 days in length (8:00 am to 4:00 pm).
Cost: $1950
For the trainee who will be undertaking formal RTO training and then return to their own workplace for practical training using a logbook with a training plan to document that informal training.
The duration of this course is approximately 5 hours theory training here at Diggerman, 40 hours practical experience in your own time and then a practical test which can be completed in 2 hours.
